In 2020, as the world struggled with the COVID-19 pandemic, I faced my own personal challenge: infertility. My husband and I were trying to start a family of our own while both working as bedside nurses. We started our journey with hope, but after a year of trying naturally without success, we were faced with the painful reality that so many couples have to endure—deciding to pursue IVF.
Even with our healthcare backgrounds, we entered into a whole new world of endless tests, injections, waiting, enduring the unknown— much more difficult than I had ever anticipated, emotionally and physically, but our hard work paid off.
IVF ultimately gave us the greatest gift: our two beautiful daughters. Yet, even after our family was complete, I felt called to do more. I wanted to help others facing the same confusing and overwhelming path.
That's why I created "The In Vitro Nurse's Guide to Navigating IVF"—a resource that combines my medical insight with real experiences of infertility. My nursing background gives me a unique ability to blend professional knowledge with personal empathy. While my own journey is complete, I am here to support you through yours.
